DAY 1

Upon arrival at the Narita Airport, you will be met by a tour representative who will take you to the hotel. Travel time is about 85 minutes.

DAY 2

To start your Japan trail, you will be visiting the celebrated Meiji Shrine (A) known to be constructed in honor of Emperor Meiji and his wife Empress Shoken. After this, you will be seeing the world’s tallest self-supporting steel tower—the Tokyo Tower. Enjoy a sweeping view of Tokyo as you make your way up to the observatory. Next up: the regal Imperial Palace, a large park site, which prides itself in being surrounded by moats and massive stonewalls. It also serves as the main residence for the Emperor of Japan. The tour disbands in Ginza—one of Tokyo’s eclectic shopping and entertainment district. Use your free time to do some shopping and art-gallery-hopping.

 

DAY 3

Get ready to see Japan’s most eminent mountain—Mt. Fuji. Situated at the beautiful island of Honshu, Mt. Fuji is Japan’s highest landform at 3,776 meters. Today will be comprised of mountain treks and boat cruises to and fro Owakudani Boiling Valley, Hakone Ropeway and Lake Ashi.

DAY 4

Travel through Japan’s beautiful landscapes as you take a bullet train going to Kyoto. After making your way to the hotel, head out for an afternoon tour at Kiyomizu Temple, Kodaiji Temple and Yasaka Shrine. The tour ends at Gion District—the famous hometown of the geishas.

 

DAY 5

Wake up to the laidback metropolis of Kyoto. Our guide will take you to a walking tour to Nara—Japan’s first permanent capital. Discover why Todaiji Temple is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a stroll with the freely roaming herds of deer at Nara Park. Later, pop in at Kofukuji Temple—erected as a family symbol of the powerful Fujiwara Clan. In the afternoon, you may want to grab a map as you uncover the charm that Kyoto has.

DAY 6

An airport shuttle service shall transfer you from Kyoto to Kansai International Airport. Please take note that the call-time shall be four hours prior to your time of flight. You will be notified of your transfer time a day before.
