The Saraza Music Center
The first and the only public centerin the Philippines for London College of Music Examinations of University of West London. U.K.
The Center began in January 2007 with only a handful of students and teachers. The center currently accommodates 70 students at different levels of musical accomplishments in the following areas: voice, keyboard, piano, drums, guitar and violin. Its roster of top-caliber teachers are trained in the premier musical institutions of the University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, Sta. Isabel College, St. Scholastica s College and the like and under the mentorship of musical luminaries. The Center also provides music services for weddings and other events featuring quality and experienced musicians who are trained from different colleges of music in the Philippines and abroad and had experienced performing in famous hotels and luxury cruise ships.

The center continues to progress and grow. Its mission to provide quality music lessons and services to students has made the center strived for an international affiliation that would maximize the students skills in music through progressive lessons and standardized theory and practical examinations. Now, it is the first and the only registered and appointed public center in the Philippines for London College of Music Examinations of University of West London, U.K. It has its goal to give all offered music lessons an international certificate and degree based on syllabi, which have wide range of musical repertoire.

And inspired to do more great developments, the center has now added academic tutorials and visual arts to cater the demands and needs of the students. These give a personalized programme of study that provides students opportunities for remedial and enrichment lessons in academics and decorative and technical designs/crafts using hand or technology in arts.

Through music, academics and arts, the Saraza Music Center would always innovate and offer various opportunities and best learning experiences to cultivate and achieve the greatest potentials of talented students.
David Cadlum Saraza , the Center s owner and musical director is a former Stigmatine seminarian. He studied music at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music and was also a member of the Conservatory s Coro Tomasino. He is a guest member of the World acclaimed Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club. Dave works as a composer, music scorer and a musical director to various organizations, schools and events.
As a composer and arranger, he made music that was used for the 2012 Christmas celebration of Ritz Carlton Hotel Doha. He also composed the musical score of Navel Animation s Road to 7th Avenue, which was a finalist in Singapore s animation Superpitch 2005.
As a conductor, he led the keyboard orchestra of the International Academy for Intercultural Development Qatar to a concert at Qatar National Convention Center. He also led the God s Awesome Power Chamber Choir, Koro Stigmatino, Westfield Science Oriented School Choir and The Stigmatine Seminary Choir to various concerts, TV appearances and recordings.
As a performer, David appeared as singer, pianist and musical director for the World Environment Day celebration 2011 at the Qatar National Theatre; singer and band director for the Doha Tribeca Film Festival 2011 at Katara Cultural Village; Jazz pianist with Doha Jazz in Movenpick Hotel Doha; and a baritone choir member of the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club for the World choir competitions, concerts and festivals in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
As a teacher, David trained International students to pass with distinction awards the London College of Music Examinations of the University of West London. (U.K). He also trained students who became finalists and champions in various music competitions here and abroad.
David was also featured in Entrepreneur Magazine of Summit Media Corporation as a young musician and entrepreneur in a two-page article entitled, Strike the Right Notes. This is indeed, recognition of the unique promise of Mr. David Emmanuel Cadlum Saraza and the Saraza Music Center for continued success in honing the skills of students in music.
Dave is a former faculty member / music teacher in The International Academy for Intercultural Development, Qatar. MIT International School, Alabang, St. John Bosco School cavite, Fr. Angelico Lipani School, St. Gaspar Bertoni Seminary and Westfield Science Oriented School Las Pinas.
