The PT-AR100 Full-HD LCD projector offers 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixel) resolution and a wide range of Panasonic imaging technologies, so your friends and family enjoy everything from movies and sports to video games, with stunning clarity in a large-screen format.

Bright, sharp images in any lighting condition

By combining an advanced optical unit and a new 280-W Red-Rich lamp, the PT-AR100 is able to generate an amazing 2,800 lumens of brightness. Assisted by Panasonic’s Light Harmonizer 3 technology, this projector can then automatically adjust the picture quality of the image to match the living room or theatre, allowing for comfortable viewing across a range of lighting conditions. Built-in ambient light and colour sensors also work to constantly maintain bright, crisp pictures that match the viewing environment.

High contrast equals deeper blacks and brighter colour

An astounding contrast ratio of 50,000:1 provides a wide dynamic range to enhance the beauty in both dark and bright scenes. Panasonic technologies such as the Dynamic Iris Pro and Pure Colour Filter Pro combine to achieve a high purity level of the three primary colours—red, green and blue—while displaying deeper blacks, for a more natural colour appearance. In addition, the PT-AR100 excels at showing fine detail thanks to the Detail Clarity Processor 3 engine.

The right picture mode for all your favourite content

Seven different picture modes provide optimal performance for different content, including the highly important Cinema, Sport and Game modes. Movies can be enjoyed in Cinema 1 mode that has been tuned carefully to faithfully express the director’s artistic intent. Panasonic has continued to work with Hollywood experts to deliver this ideal image reproduction for viewing movies. Game mode improves signal processing for better response time and also reveals gradation in saturated areas to show details that are otherwise lost in very dark areas. In Sports mode, together with the Motion Effect feature, the PT-AR100 improves detail on moving objects, resulting in intensified action.

Easy to set up and use

The 2x optical zoom lens provides a wide throw range and the projector’s lens shift capability enables 65 percent vertical adjustment and 26 percent horizontal adjustment. What this means in real terms is that the PT-AR100 functions beautifully in a variety of different-rooms, from a small sized media room to a mini cinema. This outstanding set-up flexibility allows you to position the projector in the most convenient place, such as a shelf in front of or behind the seating area, or even suspended from the ceiling. The PT-AR100 is also equipped with two HDMI inputs, so multiple HD sources can be connected without an HDMI switcher. Automation, such as lighting and a motorised screen, is possible with the PT-AR100 because it comes equipped with two programmable 12-volt trigger terminals and VIERA Link.
