Developed in collaboration with engineers from the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, the PT-AE7000 Full-HD 3D home theatre projector has been designed to produce images that mirror movie directors’ artistic vision and intent.

Superior studio-grade 3D technology

High-speed 480Hz LCD panels give the PT-AE7000 an edge over other 3D projectors that dedicated home cinema lovers will really appreciate. Together with Panasonic’s original high-precision overdrive technology, this projector is capable of bright 3D images while minimising crosstalk, or the double-images that inferior projectors are plagued with. The PT-AE7000 is also equipped with a newly-developed dual-core processing engine to enhance fine details, and bring out the natural life-like visuals in both 3D and 2D scenes, even with fast-moving sports or action movies. In terms of creating a high-quality cinema experience at home, the PT-AE7000 has the added advantage of adjustable 3D picture balance features and the ability to convert 2D content into 3D images with five different 3D effect modes.

Glorious picture quality – in any dimension

The optical system of the PT-AE7000U features a new 200 watt Red-Rich Lamp and new LCD panels with larger aperture ratio for increased red luminance and brightness output. The combination of fully-optimized Pure Contrast Plates, Pure Colour Filter Pro and Dynamic Iris Pro has resulted in a 300,000:1 contrast ratio and 2,000 lumens of brightness, producing images with excellent colouring and deep blacks with fine shadow details.

Customise your dream theatre

The PT-AE7000 is rich with features for enthusiasts who wish to customise the perfect home theatre. The projector's Intelligent Lens Memory feature means you can easily program up to six different zoom/focus positions. Automatic switching between 16:9 and 2.35:1 video content is also possible thanks to the signal aspect detection capability on the PT-AE7000. More theatre automation, such as lighting and a motorised screen, can be achieved with the PT-AE7000 because it comes equipped with two programmable 12-volt trigger terminals. The holy grail of home cinemas is a set-up that can be operated with one device and the VIERA Link feature does this by providing seamless operation of multiple compatible Panasonic devices by using the PT-AE7000 remote control.
