Simultaneous MPEG-4 and JPEG
Cameras simultaneously send MPEG-4 images in three resolutions (VGA, QVGA, and QSIF_SP), and JPEG images in the same three resolutions in favour motion, standard, and favour clarity image-quality types. MPEG-4 is recommended for viewing smooth motion images, and JPEG is recommended for recording higher quality images.
MPEG-4 Visual License
This product is licensed under the MPEG-4 Visual patent portfolio license for the personal and noncommercial use of a consumer for (i) encoding video in compliance with the MPEG-4 Visual Standard (“MPEG-4 Video”) and/or (ii) decoding MPEG-4 Video that was encoded by a consumer engaged in a personal and non-commercial activity and/or was obtained from a video provider licensed by MPEG LA to provide MPEG-4 Video. Multi-camera Capability*
Check the images from four cameras at once. Monitor 12 cameras in all, and display them all at once (with no audio). Use a recording program (BB-HNP11) to save images and audio to a PC hard disk.
Built-in Microphone
Sounds picked up by the built-in microphone can be heard through the PC. Video monitoring with sound enhances security by providing additional information that images cannot convey.
