This powerful amp can drive a subwoofer speaker with a serious RMS to your spk. So Its not the watts vs pmpo. Clean power is the KEY here. Even you set at MAXIMUM VOLUME do not be afraid to do so... you wont hear sound clipping in clean power of my amps! So dont be fooled by PMPO Watts. a multiples by 10 to 100.
ex. a PC speaker with ic 4watts RMS is equal to 400watts pmpo. simply marketing...hehe

75, 150 or peaks to 150, 300 --> amp5 or amp4.5 range --> 6 to 10" average subs 
300, 600 or peaks to 600, 1200 --> amp4 and amp4v2 range --> 12 to 18" most common JBL, targa etc...
1200, 2500 or peaks to 2400, 5000 --> amp2 and amp3 range --> 12 to 18" high end subs

Plus adding more beefier power supply than logitech z5500 toroid supply. perhaps even better! due to higher voltage and higher current output stages are set. These monster amp can drive two 12inch or two 18inch driver. TIPS on subwoofer DIY.
Just remember that there is no magic box! - wag mag tiwala sa mga prefab at lalo na huwag mag invent ng design. 
How you want your bass? 
lower freq mas soft, lambot aka gapang bass. box tuned to 28-38hz. --> street bass
higher freq mas hard hitting aka tight pounding bass. box tuned to 39 to 60hz. --> musical
So why i pick ported over other designs?
Bandpass, abc box - very loud but known as one note wonder and big delay on bass output. - very good on SPL
T-Line - very good output but again much worst result. bigger delay on bass and hinders its excursion too much, resulting to thermal problem on voice coil. - very good on SPL
Sealed box. - zero delay, perfect flat bass response but it lacks of spl bigtime and needs more power. - very good on SQ
Ported Side Firing - less delay, sub driver reacts efficiently on custom port tuning, straight port no bend for zero distortion output, side firing means no wave cancellation vs cone. excellent all around enclosure bass response. check out the chart results of 12inch chalenge. can still go loud to 25hz ext. as a sealed design. - VERY GOOD ON SQ and SPL!!!
