• PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
• NovCrete Acrylic Mortar Admixture is a premium grade acrylic polymer formulated to give excellent adhesion for new to old plaster as well as improve mechanical strength and elasticity of fresh concrete; recommended as well to increase further adhesive strength of tile adhesives, tile grouts, and other mortar products.

• APPLICATION

1. Concrete surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly by removing all loosely adhering particles, dirt, oils, paints, and other contaminants. Shake the contents very well prior to use.
2. For preparation of bonding slurry ( mixture of adhesive and cement ), mix equal parts of NovCrete Acrylic Mortar Admixture and portland cement until creamy consistency is attained. Dampen surfaces and apply slurry using a notched trowel or stiff brush. CAUTION: While the slurry is still tacky, apply the mortar mixture as prepared in step #3.

• 3(a). For REGULAR STRENGTH mortar mixture, mix one (1) part of NovCrete Acrylic Mortar Admixture with two (2) parts clean water. Use this as gauging water to cement and sand. Subsequently, mortar application must be carried out while the bonding slurry is still tacky.
• 3(b). For HEAVY-DUTY STRENGTH mortar mixture, mix one (1) part NovCrete Acrylic Mortar Admixture with one (1) part clean water

• IMPORTANT
• ALWAYS SHAKE THE BOTTLE WELL BEFORE USING. Some settling and separation between solid contents and liquid additives will occur after a period of time. This is NORMAL for this type of material and this will not in any way diminish the high quality and performance of this product.
