Mt. Zion History:

Mt. Zion, Inc. was born on May 19, 1999. It all started with an idea which eventually became a reality. The person behind the idea is one of our marketing people who do believe that entering into this kind of business - i.e. the memorial park industry - would be feasible to the market because of the fact that it is a need; a need that everyone should have. Though our mother company (Fil-Estate Corporation) is engaged in subdivision and golf course developments, which is obviously quite different from a memorial park, they still managed to pursue the idea because of the belief that it would be a success. Hence, Mt. Zion Memorial, Inc. was established to be able to provide the need of having memorial lots that are of high quality yet affordable to each and every Filipino in this country.

    The first project of Mt. Zion Memorial, Inc. is located at Bonuan, Boquiq, Dagupan City where the first site orientation happened. 

       After a long time of preparations, Mt. Zion Dagupan is now ready for operations. It was the morning of October 23,1999 when the blessing of Mt. Zion Dagupan office was held. After which, the 1st Sales General Meeting happened. A priest was invited to bless the first branch office of Mt. Zion Memorial, Inc. which we consider our "baby". 

    It was October 23,1999 when the first Sales General Meeting of Mt. Zion Dagupan was celebrated. 

   The company is now ready to accept sales. The first sales acceptance happened on October 26, 1999 at the Mt. Zion Dagupan office. The sales force especially the Regional Directors were present in order to bring in their first sales. Some of the Fil-Estate employees came to give their support since Mt. Zion office staffs are newly hired and they still need to be trained.

    The sales acceptance held at Mt. Zion Dagupan was successful because of the sales result it gained within the day.

    The groundbreaking  ceremony of Mt. Zion Dagupan was held on November 20,1999 at the site. Mt. Zion officers, sales force, staffs, supports and guests attended to witness this event. Of course, we must not forget the landowner, Mrs. Gloria R. Ocampo who was also there for she plays a big part of the company. 

    A conference was assembled on January 6-7, 2000 at Camp John Hay, Baguio City which all the Mt. Zion officers attended in order to plan for the year 2000 and grow as one to be no.1. Discussing the theme "Growing as one to be no.1" in order to attain the Corporate Vision, of being recognized as the leader in the Memorial Park Industry for Sales and Marketing Excellence, Quality of Project Development and Maintenance, and for Superior Customer Service. The group accepted the challenge of putting Mt. Zion in the forefront of the Real-estate Industry. That is why following resolutions for year 2000 was made during the said conference. All matters with regard to Mt. Zion Memorial, Inc. were all presented especially its project development, training update, company vision, company mission, and the expectations of each department in the organization.

    The first Regional Directors' Conference was also held at Camp John Hay, Baguio City on January 7 to 8, 2000. A two-day conference was prepared for the Regional Directors of Mt. Zion Dagupan to give them an overview of what would Mt. Zion Memorial, Inc. can offer especially to those who would really commit themselves in the company. Different plans and programs were set in order for them to be aware of their status as a Regional Director. Incentive schemes were also discussed including the monthly allowance incentive and the yearly awards for the best in option and paid-up production. Contract Signing of all Regional Directors of Mt. Zion Dagupan was also held during the conference. Atty. Ferdinand Santos, Ms. Gemma D. Serrano and their respective SVP's were also there to complete the signing of contracts. The Regional Directors were also given the chance to assert their opinions and ideas in mind that would promote unity and success in the company. This two-day conference is not only a full discussion of serious matters concerning the corporation but instead it was also a fun-filled activity wherein everyone experienced a different kind of feeling of a unified team who were trying to grow as one to be no.1.

Mt. Zion Batangas is now set to be the second project of MZMI. After all the preparations done.

    Another project of Mt. Zion Memorial, Inc. is located at San Lorenzo South subdivision Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It is a joint project agreement of MZMI and AFP-RSBS. A contract signing ceremony was held at the boardroom of Renaissance 3000 on March 21,2000 which was headed by the Presidents and the EVP's of both parties. Each company had their representative officers and other support which were also present to witness the ceremony.

       The office blessing of Mt. Zion Batangas was held on April 1,2000. The Mt. Zion family, 

    The most awaited part of the opening of the Mt. Zion Batangas was the groundbreaking ceremony. It was held at the site on April 8,2000. The event was participated by the Mt. Zion family, supporters and guests. A mass was held before the groundbreaking ceremony happened. The president, Atty. Ferdinand T. Santos, headed the ceremony and with him was Dra. Sofia Cresencia, the landowner.
