The All-New Mazda 3 SKYACTIV is also the first Mazda car to feature the Human-Machine Interface (HMI). Based on Mazda s Heads-Up Cockpit concept, the HMI creates a driving environment that minimizes cognitive, visual, and manual distractions. Some of HMI s features include an Active Driving Display, projecting vehicle speed and turn-by-turn directions from the navigation system onto the clear panel mounted on above the meter hood. Moreover, the Mazda 3 SKYACTIV features a Commander Control which can be easily reached by the driver and a seven-inch center display mounted at the top of the dashboard which can be viewed with minimal eye movement.
