Countboost contains:
Coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ10): CoQ10 is an antioxidant found in seminal fluid and seminal plasma. Multiple studies have confirmed that CoQ10 levels correlate closely with sperm count. Most important, research indicates that CoQ10 supplementation results in improved sperm density and motility, and increases the percentage of sperm with normal morphology.
Reduced Glutathione: In addition to protecting sperm from free radical damage and improving sperm motility, reduced glutathione is important to ensuring a healthy sperm count. Research has demonstrated that treating infertile men with reduced glutathione resulted in improvement to overallsperm count (as well as cell membrane characteristics).
Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin: Multiple studies performed on men with low sperm count (oligospermia), and even men with no measurable spermcount (azoospermia), indicate that supplementation with methylcobalamin may result in significant increases to sperm concentration.
Vitamin C: Research indicates that increased vitamin C intake is associated with higher mean sperm count. In one study, vitamin C was supplemented to infertile men between 25 and 35 years of age with decreased sperm count. The men received 1000 mg of vitamin C twice daily for up to two months. The results of the study showed that sperm count (and motility) increased significantly with vitamin C supplementation.
Mucuna pruriens: Research indicates that Mucuna pruriens can improve several parameters of sperm quality. Animal models indicate that Mucuna pruriens improves sperm count, sperm viability and motility, and reduces morphological damage and the number of sperm with cytoplasmic remnants. This herb may also help to reduce reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation, DNA damage, loss of chromosomal integrity, and mitochondrial membrane permeability.
Withania somnifera: Withania somnifera has been demonstrated in studies to increase both sperm count and motility. It may also reduce oxidative stress as demonstrated by improvement in seminal plasma levels of antioxidant enzymes, and vitamins A, C, and E.
Maca: Maca is a traditional herb that has been used medicinally for years to enhance fertility and libido. Numerous studies have shown that supplementation with maca improves sperm count, as well as spermmotility, semen volume, and overall sperm quality.
Panax ginseng: Studies on Panax Ginseng, a traditional Chinese botanical, indicate that it induces spermatogenesis, and significantly increases spermcount and motility.
Ribose: Ribose is a five-carbon sugar that provides the necessary substrate for synthesis of nucleotides RNA and DNA, as well as major cellular components such as ATP. Adequate ribose is essential for energy production, and the availability of ribose determines the rate at which these nucleotides can be made by the cells. Poly-ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) is a DNA repair enzyme which also plays a role in apoptosis. PARP is present in male germ cells, specifically during stage VII of spermatogenesis. PARP expression is higher in spermatozoa and in proven fertile men. PARP is activated by DNA strand breaks due to oxidative stress, chromatin remodeling, or cell death. High PARP expression has been reported in mature spermatozoa and in proven fertile men.

My DH had been initially diagnosed with azoospermia - absolutely no spermin his ejaculate. He started taking this pill and 7 weeks later on his secondsperm assay there were 25 sperm in his ejaculate. His FSH is high, LH, just a tad over normal, prolactin and testosterone are normal. With those 25sperm, there is hope that we can get pregnant via ICSI with IVF. Hopefully in another month there will be even more sperm because that will be the end of 3 months on the supplements. Thank you for giving us hope for a biological child.

My wife found this product and we decided to give it a chance. We had been diagnosed with infertility after a sperm analysis came back 3 million spermwith 97% with head defects. We bought this along with the count boost and within 2 weeks had another analysis 33 million sperm 98% still had head defects. My wifes doctor put her on Clomid because of the improvement. Ee became pregnant first round. We are now 9 weeks, heard the heart beat everything is great so far. If it wasnt for these products we would have had to pay for artificial insemination or invitro. This was a way better option.

A little background about us. My husband had a vasectomy reversal on April.29 and we had our first SA done at the three month mark. It came back with counts at 5.4 million total. We were devastated. So because he was already on Fertilaid for Men we decided to try the count boost to see if it would make a difference. Well I'm happy to report that my husbands counts one month later are now at 45 million total!! My husband and I had been trying for for 13 months for our second child. After a year we met with a fertility specialist and were both checked out. Turned out that my husbands sperm count was low. My husband and I were diagnosed with Male Factor infertility a year and a half ago. He started taking this product with Fertilaid back in Oct. in preparation for a reproductive urologist appt. (new doctor). We went to that appt. in Feb. and the doctor looked at his past 4 SA's and told us that the only way we would be able to have children is through IVF. Now that there is a baby on the way, there are miracles in life. I took theFertilAid for 2 months alone before trying to take both that and the Count Boost for 2 months. I am not going to say that only because of these pills are we going to have a child, because I do believe there is a bigger plan. However, these pills are very easy to take and might have played a large roll in the sperm count. I was informed by doctors that I was probably not going to be able to create enough sperm for reproduction. After 2 sperm count tests, one test with 200,000 and another test with only 4 sperm, it is not really needed to state that my counts were low. I would recommend this product, not saying it will work 100%, but as a safe supplement, then I would strongly suggest a try.
