DAY 1

From the airport, head straight out to explore the world’s Kingdom of Wonder. After meeting your tour guide, take some time out to organize your stuffs in the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed to the Central Market, a grand bazaar built in 1937. Soothe your eyes with its amazing local finds varying from clothing to street food to souvenirs. Be at your most convincing self as you have some good-natured bargaining with the vendors. Your tour continues with a visit to the famous Chak Tomok River which will be followed by a glimpse of the Independence Monument, a historical landmark in the form of a lotus-shaped stupa, standing on the intersection of the Norodom Boulevard. End your day by dining at a local restaurant.

DAY 2

Fill your stomach with a hearty hotel breakfast before starting the tour at Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda. Once a residence to the King of Cambodia, the palace boasts highly-sculpted golden walls and a huge area manicured with fascinating tropical gardens. Another tour highlight for the day is a visit to the National Museum where you will find the largest collection of Khmer Art, reflecting the country’s very rich culture and heritage. The Toul Sleng is next on the list–a secondary-school-turned-prison during the 1975 communist regime. On the outskirts of Phnom Penh lies the Killing Field Museum which serves as a memorial to those who sacrificed their lives during the rule of Khmer Rouge. After an entire day spent walking down Cambodia’s memory lane, your afternoon will then be spent hitting the Central Market or Russian Market before having dinner.

DAY 3

Have your final blast at Cambodia after eating your breakfast at the hotel. Take some more pictures that will serve as memoirs of the trip that was.
