DAY 1
Maayong adlaw is an expression locals would use to welcome a tourist in the laid-back but riveting province of Bohol. Upon meeting, allow your tour coordinator to fill you in on the wonderful things that Bohol has to offer as they transfer you to your hotel. Known as the “City of Friendship”, Bohol will surely ensnare you with its natural beauty.
DAY 2
Wake up to a morning free from the hustle-bustle of the urban life and start your day discovering Bohol’s great participation in molding the rich culture that the Philippines has. Your first stop is at Baclayon Church–a structure founded by the Jesuit missionaries back in 1595. Its Spanish colonial architecture, as well as its adjoining museum reveals the town’s best kept secrets which makes it one of the National Historic Treasures in the country. The tour continues at Bilar Man-Made Forest, a two-kilometer tree-lined crescent located in the border of Loboc and Bilar. You will see thousands of mahogany trees seemingly guarding the road, stretching its leafy branches as if welcoming every tourist that swings by. Carry on with your flora and fauna encounters when you visit a Tarsier Sanctuary. You have a chance to witness the world’s smallest primates at their natural habitats. After this, head off to the well-celebrated land form that Bohol takes pride in–Chocolate Hills. This may be the perfect backdrop for your personal travel postcard so take your time as you find the best spot to capture the grandeur this geological formation exudes. Your countryside tour will end as you take a cruise past the town of Loboc. Unwind as the Loboc River Children’s Choir serenade you while having a sumptuous lunch serving local specialties.
DAY 3
This morning, you will be transferred to the airport after having your breakfast. If you would want to visit souvenir and specialty shops, our tour guides will be happy to oblige.
