DAY 1

Meet your local tour guide and go on a tour to Tiananmen Square – the world’s third largest city square which served as the site for several significant events ever written in chinese history. Head north of the Tiananmen and get acquainted with the Forbidden City, dubbed as one of UNESCO’S World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, enjoy a cup of tea before transferring to your hotel.

DAY 2

Jump start your day with a nice and healthy breakfast before driving off 37 miles from Beijing to hike the world-renowned Juyongguan Pass of the Great Wall of China. Better known as a military stronghold, this World Heritage is also considered to be one of Beijing best sceneries—what with its mountains dotted by lush trees and beautiful flowers. After this, have your pictures taken outside the 2008 Beijing Olympic Sites. Recount the golden winning moments, which transpired during the World’s biggest sporting event. Finally, swing by a Chinese Herbal Medicine Research Facility for some knowledge-building time before going back to the hotel.

DAY 3

Take a dose of Chinese History when you head out to the Temple of Heaven—a structure, which echoes the Chinese ancient thought that the heaven is round and the earth is square. The rest of the day will be filled with haggling and store hopping as you swing around the Pearl Market, Silk Mall and Wangfujing Shopping Street.

DAY 4

You may want to pick up Beijing at your own pace while there’s still free time. Your tour guide will be taking you to the airport a few hours prior to your scheduled flight.
