- Tried and tested as i am a user of this adel fingerprint lock (DIY3398) and the cartoon lock.

- This model DIY3398 and the cartoon lock have reversible handles, meaning the installation is possible whether your door opens to the left or to the right.

- 4 AA alkaline batteries are included in the package. I have not tested up to when the batteries will last but i think it is more than a year.

- Once you have registered your fingerprint, it cannot anymore be erased due to low battery.

The captured fingerprint is stored permanently.

It can only be erased through a procedure using the instruction manual.

- if a low battery is experienced, you can open the lock by, 1. using the manual key, 2. using a 9V battery and connecting it under the handle, from that point, you can open by scanning fingerprint or by inputting number code.

- Installation is very easy, you can do it yourself.

If you need an installer within metro manila, just add 1,000 pesos.

- Parts are available. If you need screws, latch or any part of this model, i can supply this to you anytime.
