This Toyota diagnostic tool uses Toyota Techstream software and can diagnose all toyota vehicles which has a 16 pin diagnostic port. This tool works also with Asian market vehicles like the Innova and Fortuner (100% tested to work... I have a Toyota Fortuner).
The tool uses the new J2534 interface standard. This is a new standard which allows the tool to even flash calibration files to the car's ECU.
Aside from being able to diagnose Toyota vehicles, it can also do OBDII compliant vehicles from 1996 up to 2012 models. This includes Japanese,European, American and Korean cars.
This is a PC based tool. The Techstream software is installed on your computer and the device connects via USB port.
It can read and reset check engine light and clear fault codes.
it can do data logging and data streaming.
And for the tech savvy, it can even flash your ECU calibration files thru the diagnostic port.
