9.4 Inch 1280X800 LG IPS Screen on Ramos W42

Ramos W41 features a 9.4 inch 1280X800 pixel high definition resolution LG IPS display which is waterproof and targets fluid touch even if your figure is wet with water and easiness to wipe off figure print.

Currently,most 7 inch Tablet PCs even 9.7 inch Tablet PCs use 1024X768 non-IPS screen. But Ramos W41 features a much better one - a 9.4 inch 10-point multi-touch capacitive 3rd generation IPS screen.

For those who do not know what IPS is, IPS stands for In-Plane Switching which was developed by Hitachi back in 1996. An IPS display gives you a better display, more vivid color, and a wider angle for viewing. See the comparison above.

IPS (In-Plane Switching technology) panel is a technology used for liquid crystal displays (LCDs). It was invented to solve the main limitations of TN-matrices at the time: relatively slow response times, small viewing angles and low-quality color reproduction. In-Plane Switching involves arranging and switching the molecules of the liquid crystal (LC) layer between the glass substrates essentially in a plane parallel to these glass plates.

IPS Advantages

IPS panels display consistent and accurate color from all viewing angles.
Unlike TN LCDs, IPS panels do not lighten or show tailing when touched. This is important for touchscreen devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

Yes,quite true. Google official apps were/are designed and developed for aspect ration 16:9 screen. Ramos W41 features 1280X800 pixel 16:9 screen which makes itself compatible with all Google official apps. Do you remember or know the iPad Mini features 1024X768 4:3 screen? Do you know why it comes this way? Apple does so purely because of the apps compatibility,not only in the hardware components,but also in the aspect ration. Otherwise,most of the apps for iPad cannot fit the screen of iPad Mini. Now,for the exactly same reason,Ramos W41 features a 1280X800 16:9 Google standard resolution in order to make all Google official apps fit the screen of itself. Otherwise,most Google official apps cannot fit the screen of Ramos W41 very well.

Ramos W41 features powerful capability in video playback of up to 4K*2K super high definition pixel,supports 1080P 3D hard decoding for MPEG4,H.264,VC-1 and many more other high definition coding. Ramos W41 also supports playing 6 videos simultaneously. This is very cool.

All these are thanks to the powerful GPU that has specific graphic processing engine which runs 4X faster as the common-seen GPU.

Ramos W41 can play up to 4096X2160 super high definition pixel video - 4 times as the current mainstream 1080P's 1920X1080 pixel resolution.
