What are the Ingredients of MotilityBoost?
Coenzyme Q10 (Ubuquinone): Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a lipid-soluble antioxidant important in mitochondrial bioenergetics and found in seminal fluid and seminal plasma. CoQ10 has been found to improve sperm count and motility on asthenozoospermia. In one study, infertile men with reduced sperm motility were supplemented with CoQ10 for 6 months. Semen analysis was performed at the beginning of the study and again after 6 months of treatment. The results showed that oral CoQ10 supplementation increased CoQ10 levels in the seminal plasma and in sperm cells, which correlated to a significant increase in sperm motility. Another study supplemented CoQ10 or placebo in 212 infertile men with oligoasthenoteratospermia for 26 weeks. The results of the study showed that sperm density and motility significantly improved with CoQ10 treatment. Additionally, CoQ10 treatment duration was associated with sperm motility, sperm count, and sperm morphology.
N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC): Reactive oxygen species have been shown to reduce sperm motility. Antioxidants including NAC have been shown to reduce reactive oxygen species and prevent damaging effects such as reductions in sperm motility. In one study, 120 infertile males were treated with NAC or placebo for 3 months. The study showed that compared to the men in the placebo group, the men receiving NAC supplementation had improved semen volume, motility, and viscosity. Additionally, NAC treatment resulted in increased serum total antioxidant capacity and decreased total peroxide and oxidative stress index compared with the control group.
Quercetin: Quercetin is a potent antioxidant that has been shown to have beneficial affects on several sperm parameters. Studies indicate that treatment with quercetin for 14 days results in a significant increase in sperm motility, viability and concentration. Researchers suggest that quercetin may affect sperm quality through the stimulation of the sex organs, depending on the dose and the duration of treatment.
Arginine: Arginine is a precursor of several compounds thought to play a role in sperm motility, including putrescine, spermidine, and spermine. Additionally, oxidation of arginine generates nitric oxide, which is also believed to play a role in fertility. L-arginine supplementation has been shown to increase sperm motility and sperm count in infertile men with oligospermia and asthenospermia. In one study, researchers investigated the effect of supplementation with L-arginine in healthy males, males with diabetes, and males with idiopathic asthenozoospermia. The study showed that men with asthenozoospermia have lower levels of spermidine in the seminal plasma and diabetic males have lower levels of both putrescine and spermidine. In vitro treatment with L-arginine resulted in increased sperm motility in men with diabetes as well as the men with asthenozoospermia.
L-Carnitine: Carnitine is important for the development of spermatozoa, as it acts as a source of energy in the epididymis, improves sperm motility, and plays a role in sperm maturation. Research indicated that infertile men have lower levels of total carnitine in the seminal plasma compared to healthy men, particularly among men with decreased sperm motility and sperm count. Furthermore, there is a direct correlation between carnitine levels in the seminal plasma and sperm motility, vitality, and concentration.
Several studies indicate that supplementation with L-carnitine improves sperm parameters. In one study, researchers supplemented L-carnitine or placebo in 100 infertile men between 20 and 40 years of age. L-carnitine was shown to significantly improve semen quality and forward sperm motility compared to placebo. In a similar study, L-carnitine was supplemented daily in 170 males for 3 months. Semen analysis was performed prior to and following the treatment period. L-carnitine supplementation increased the percentile of motile sperm and sperm with normal morphology. In addition, research has shown that supplementation with L-carnitine not only improves total sperm motility and forward sperm motility, but also results in significantly improved pregnancy rates.
Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin: Various studies have demonstrated that treatment with methylcobalamin results in increased sperm motility, sperm count, motile sperm count, diameter of seminiferous tubules, and the percentage of good motile sperm with higher apparent density compared to control groups. One such study supplemented infertile men without azoospermia with methylcobalamin daily for 4 to 24 weeks. Semen analysis was performed after 8 weeks of treatment. The results indicated that 38.4 percent of the men had increased sperm concentration, 53.8 percent had increased total sperm count, 50 percent had increased sperm motility, and 50 percent had increased total motile sperm count.
Mucuna Pruriens: Mucuna pruriens has been shown to improve sperm quality, including sperm count, sperm viability and motility, and reduce morphological damage and the number of sperm with cytoplasmic remnants.

OK folks, Here is the skinny of it. I'm 50 years old, had a vasectomy performed 12 years prior to my reversal. New wife is 11 years younger and wanted another child. I have four already but was willing to have another with new love of my life. Had my reversal in January 2012. At the three month post-reversal procedure mark, my sperm count was 18 million per ml with 15% motility, grade 1 and 4 . At the 6 month mark my sperm count was 49 million per ml with 18% motility, same grade level. In September we tried an IUI and my numbers were just at the minimal mark for the IUI after the spin down process. With no success I stumbled upon this website and ordered 2 bottles and thought I would give it a whirl. By the time I recieved the bottles and started to take them it was close to my wife's ovulation cycle. Then bam, we had success. I only took these pills for 10 days before my wife ovulated and we were able to get pregnant the normal way, no IUI. my husband and I have been together for 13 years now. He is 33 and I am 29 yess we were young lol. We just got married last Aug and have been ttc for 19 mths now, after visiting my fertility specialist in april 2012 and having all exams done I was told that I am perfectly fine but........my husbands semen analysis wasnt :( He had 0% motility and abnormal morph but his sperm count was okay.....just okay thou. My husband and I both have fertility issues. I won't go into mine since this is for the motility boost product. Our first test my husband's sperm count was in normal range; however is motility was only 1%. I went online and found the fairhaven health family of products. I ordered fertailaid,motility boost and sperm count for him and the women's products for me. Well we aren't pregnant yet, but after only taking motility boost along with fertilaid for a little over a month his motility had jumped to 30% our doctor was very impressed with the improvement. And now we qualify to try IUI and don't have to resort to the more drastic and more $$$ IVF. I'm very hopeful that his motility will continue to improve the longer he takes the supplements. I would suggest anyone who is skeptical to give it a try; my husband was very skeptical, but he is now a believer!

My urologist told me that the only way for me to have a child is by having a surgery because I have a varicose or my fianc e and I can try IUI or IVF. I did some research on line and came across the Motility Boost and Fertilaid. 6 months After a varicocle surgery, my Sperm check was 80% alive, good count (dont renember numbers), but 0% progresive (lineal) motion bummer I took MB along with Fertile AId. I ordered enough for 3 months of treatment, but after only 1 month, we got pregnant I can t say for sure if this worked and was the cause, because I havent done a spermogram since then, but I can t find another explanation for getting pregnant, so I assume this actuallty worked for us. Besides , I was worried about some issues of the formula, they did contact me and tried to explain everything to me, I mean the customer service was really nice.

I was taking FertilAid for Women for couple of months, then was starting to get frustrated as I am not getting pregnant and its been a year and 3 mos ive been trying to get pregnant. I was taking Fertile CM to increase mucus on my part & it worked very well during my ovulatory phase. I didn't notice much of a change in my cycle otherwise though. My husband quit chewing tobacco 2 months ago & started taking Motility Boost along with FertilAid for Men. I had been complaining of pelvic pain after ovulation for 2 months. Ultraounds for both months indicated that my dominant follicles had turned into a large cyst on each ovary. I was devastated. But when my period ended up being 10 days late, I took a pregnancy test & it came back positive!!
